Yeah, still, I'd much rather be called a "cretin with no taste" that's something I can own. Yeah, I'm a cretin with no taste and I'm reveling and rubbing this garbage all over my body--stay mad about it.

I genuinely don't understand why some people vehemently dislike the spin-offs. I suppose a lot of it is just the knowledge that DM's golden time is over and maybe people who only like DM get a bit defensive about it? I don't know it's a dumb thing to get uppity about. I don't really see that much vitriol for the spin-offs though (but I also haven't been around as long as others) but we have six YGO series now so being upset everything isn't about DM is old news I guess.
